The years after the Spanish civil war were tough. That didn't prevent young Ignacio Orbaiceta from excelling as one of the best sprinters at that time. It was necessary to be resourceful. And brave. To have instinct. Those breakaways were the beginning of a long-distance competition that it is still in our memories today.
At the age of 26, Ignacio retired from professional cycling. The Orbaiceta brothers started a new era, as distributors and manufacturers of bikes and kitchen appliances. His brother Javier boosted Conor in 1990, reflecting the family's cycling and business spirit.
Conor maintains the perseverance and effort that continues to evolve in the Valley of Egüés in Navarra, where Javier was born almost a century ago. The spirit of progress lives on in each of our products
